PAFA Spirit

Join the sport of cheer! The sport of cheerleading includes sideline cheers, stunting, jumps, motions, and halftime routines in preparation for junior high and high school cheer. 

Registration

When to Register:

  • Registration will open on April 1 at 8:30AM.
  • You can register from April 1 to May 25.

Where to Register:

  • In-person: Visit the Palatine Park District at the Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center or Falcon Park Recreation Center.
  • Online: You may also register HERE

Sideline Cheer Discount (Does not apply to Mini Cheer):

  • Register by 7:00pm April 15th and receive a $10 discount
  • Siblings get a $25 discount on one registration.

  • Mini Cheer Session 1
    • In-District: $72
    • Out-of-District: $90
  • Mini Cheer Session 2
    • In-District: $90
    • Out-of-District: $110
  • Sideline Cheer
    • In-District: $200
    • Out-of-District HS: $220
    • Out-of-District: $240

Refund Policy:

  • Mini Cheer – No refunds after first practice.
  • Sideline Cheer Refund Policy – 
    • 100% less $5 processing fee through July 22
    • 50% less $5 processing fee through Jul 29
    • No refunds can be given after Jul 30.

Schedule

FOOTBALL SIDELINE CHEER: Practice 3 nights a week (beginning July 21) until school starts – then 1 night a week through October. We will cheer at play-offs and championship games the first few weeks of November if played.

Game schedules are determined by the Bill George Youth Football League (BGYFL) and may take a few weeks into the season to finalize. 

PAFA Spirit schedules cannot be created until the official football schedule has been finalized by the league and by the PAFA football board. 

Please note: We make every effort to publish our schedule within 48 hours of receiving the football schedule. 

We ask for your patience and understanding as the schedule for the first two weeks of the season may not come out until a few days before game day.

As in any sport, in order to cheer at all games and competitions, attendance and commitment to the team is required! We also strongly encourage all participants to enroll in tumbling classes HERE

Supplies Needed

There are mandatory supplies to purchase which will be ordered in June and delivered at a parent meeting in July.


Note: Supply purchases are non-refundable. New Sideline participants will spend approximately $140 on supplies not including shoes.
